Belle is the second smallest campground in Joshua Tree, with only 18 sites. Folks who have RV's or large trailers will appreciate the long sites found at this campground. Tent campers might want to head just a little more south to White Tank campground where the campsites nestle into the rocks. Each site is equipped with a nice concrete picnic table, fire ring, and grill. Two pit toilets are available at this campground, along with trash and recycling bins. Like most campgrounds in the park, there is no water available here, so make sure to bring in what you need. The Oasis Visitors Center is your closest option if you need a refill. Camping is $10 per night, so please self-register at the kiosk located at the entrance to the campground.
This campground is first-come, first-served and doesn't tend to fill up very quickly. Sites #1 - #5 offer the most privacy and cool rock formations. Sites in the back loop (#11 - #18) are smaller and closer together.
Belle campground offers good access to destinations along Park Boulevard while still remaining smaller and quieter than the nearby Jumbo Rocks campground.
